DEBORAH
Read the story of Deborah in Judges 4-5.

Let’s take a look at how she lived out her purpose.

Deborah served God and her people as a Judge and a prophet – and God used her to impact her nation.

I find this so encouraging, don’t you? It encourages me to rather focus on what we can do for God, than worrying about what we cannot do.

She was not driven by power and did not let her position go to her head. Why? Because she knew it wasn’t just about her.
She knew that she could bring glory to God by bringing good to her nation through serving, and being a companion and
life-giver to her leaders. And it did: By living out her purpose, she was able to lead well and bring freedom to her nation from an evil King.

This is beautiful: An ordinary woman, walking in Grace by living out her purpose as a political figure.

List and pray about 2-3 places where you know you are being called to live out your purpose.
