Paul says you are a new creation. You now have the nature of your Heavenly Father. You are of the same kind.

I have a new way of living, new values and a brand-new mindset. I now represent a new family and a new culture. I choose to leave behind my old way of doing things and I want to embrace God’s way of thinking and God’s way of living.
